Ok - so you are born a GG. If this was so do you really think you would be able to entertain any SO you had dressing up in your clothes??

Its not as easy as you first may think reading the question!
I know being honest I would not be able to tolerate it - and maybe the point of this is - all you that do have a SO that openly supports you in your dressing should probably be more grateful that what you may already be - so go on - go and get her a big bunch of flowers today.

I could but I'd probably end up a lesbian anyways;) Seriously I'm very open minded. And I've learned a lot from the GGs here online.

This is something I have never thought about but,now that I am,It makes me appreciate my wife even more(if that's possible).I love her so much.
Sharing has never been a problem for me.
In that case, I still would be alright with it.:)

Sharing is not an issue for me, Freya is welcome to borrow anything of mine. Its a shame very little fits her though.
It's even more of a shame her stuff doesn't fit me! :D
It wouldn't make any difference to me if I was a GG, I'd still be the same.

I think intolerance, like so many things, comes from a lack of knowledge. I hang my head in shame when I look back at times in my life when I have been insensitive to other people, because I haven't understood them, haven't been able to "put myself in their shoes", until now. Because we have learnt what it is like to be victims of intolerance, we are (hopefully) better able to relate to the feelings of others.
But would we have been as open minded if we had not first suffered ourselves? I think I have to be honest and say, for myself, "probably not".
Ok, Wendy, can I put myself in your shoes, now?

Couldn't answer, wasn't born that fortunate:(
I think that for me, I wouldn't care. But then again I am a GG that totally accepts Caci as she is.
Sharing isn't a problem as her stuff won't fit me anyways!_(@
If I were born a GM, I wonder if I would be as accepting. Can't answer that because I truly have no point of reference to rely on.
I am openminded for the most part as a GG. Have no idea how I'd be if I were a GM so I guess you could say I have to give it more thought before I could truly answer the question.

Looking at the replies I would say the percentage of people accepting wins, I am still not convinced that I could be if born a GG but thats just being honest I guess!

I really don't know. It seems that most GGs don't accept it, so the odds are that I wouldn't either. But if I were born female, my whole life experience would be different. We are all products of our life experience. That said, men who crossdress most all want women to accept them as such. So if a woman gets with a man who does this, the greatest gift she can ever give him is her acceptance and support. So if I were a GG, I'd like to think that I'd be so loving and giving.

I ahve given this some thought, How would I feel if my wife dressed in mens clothes. I would not mind, there would not be alot of sexual attraction, but otherwise I would be fine with it. I would think that if I were born female and had to deal with that my feelings would be the same.
So I think I can totally understand how my wife feels at this time.

So far in my experience I can not remember meeting a GG who objected to what I did or what my plans are BUT they all said that even though they accepted me and were fine talking to me etc etc they would not accept it if their SO did it.

I have to concur Amy.
I hate hypocrisy with a passion, but here i am doing just that!
This is a thought provoking question with many ramifications. Perhaps i might also be a lesbian as Tristen suggests?
I have great respect for all the GG's i have ever met in the forums, I honestly don't know how you can be so accepting of your men being crossdressers! I brought up the topic with my wife in general conversation once and she was totally freaked by the concept of XDR'ing - so i was never going to come out to her was I? So you real girls are a special bunch to me and us as a group.
Christine.
