Forum Info:
You can turn your rep points off on your user cp under "edit options".
There is a selective forum filter on your "edit options" page in the user cp to select any forum you wish to place on a 'do not have to view list', should you wish for any reason to ignore a section.
Your age is displayed after you enter your birthdate and there is a setting for that as well on your usercp options in "edit profile".
You can choose in your usercp whether or not to see the Banner at the top of the page. This can be found under Edit Options / Login & Privacy (5th item down).
Under "Edit Options" in your usercp - scroll down toward the botton: I've added a lot more to the profile pages which you can add/edit from your control panel. Included is plenty of space for a mini journal called "About Me" which is up to 2,000 characters in size(enough for a small story about you).
Font style, Font Size, and Font Colors all for setting up your way of typing in your UserCP under "Edit Options", scroll down toward the bottom under "Misc. options"
Warning!: Changing your fonts at the User CP applies to ALL of your posts past and present. Unless you want to change all of them, do not use this setting. HOWEVER it is reversable. Just go back to the UserCP and select the blank space for the setting you wish to reverse for all your posts.
You can use 8 smilies per post/signature. There are 163 smilies to chose from.
Picture limits are 800 wide by 600 tall (pixels) at 100KBs. Picture attachments will appear as thumbnails which are clickable. URL hosted images(pictures) can be used, if these are too large a scroll bar will appear below the image used.
HTML is allowed in signatures, please keep these images small. Anything too large, inappropriate or malicious will be removed by a moderator.
Avatars 150 x 150 - profile pictures 250 x 250 at 100KBs each. There are 179 generic avatars to chose from.
The PM receipt controls are located below the PM message box as one of the boxes you can check off. You may store 2,000 PMs and create folders for them as well.
POSTS:
On each post can be seen when the user was last online, join dates, their activity and longevity.
PM button added to each post.
The thanks button on each post is a simple way to thank a person for posting and is listed on each person's profile page.
"TOP" buttons added to each post so you don't have to scroll back out of the thread into the section you were viewing. Just click "top" and you will be returned to the section in which you were viewing.
On each post you can click another persons post count number to go straight to a list of all their posts like you can in their profile.
Two post editors come with the program: basic quick editor and advanced.
Post boxes can be enlarged when replying by the little arrows on the top right of the message frame.
Word filters are in place so you can't say ****, see? That should help keep the profanity and moderating down a bit.
You have a spell checker in posts, pm's, new threads as well as when editing your signature by clicking the button next to the preview and submit buttons. This includes a thesaurus.
NAVIGATION BAR:
There is a favorites listing you can add to by either clicking the thread tool button and adding that thread to your favorites, or you can add users to your favorites on each of their profile pages. A new button up top in the main toolbar will list your favorites in a dropdown menu and take you to any threads you've marked directly. Also right next to the dates above the avatars you may include each post to your favorites as well. These are automatically listed when you go to your usercp.
The Chat room is a private plug-in to our server and is not based on Java so you should need no upgrades. You can create rooms and passwords as you wish.
The Gallery is private for members to use only and can not be viewed by guests. It has many user controls of it's own as well as some kewl features :)
The Donations page is our source for info on how to contribute to the site.
We have an Arcade on the top navigator bar. There a few games to play either by keyboard or mouse and yes they have sounds and good graphics. For those moments when you get the urge to have some play time.
EXTRAS:
You will see Attachments Viewing on Profiles and on the Memberlist. These all link to any attachments any of the members may have and displays them on a new page for you.
You will see below your name on the top how many unread posts there are. You can click directly on the text "unread posts" to go to a page with a list of the posts you have not read.
Under where it shows currently active users, it will say exactily how many were the most online at one time separating members from guests.
You will see a "quick style chooser" at the bottom left beside the language chooser. Here you can select from seven different ways to view the forum. You may use the language chooser to change the viewed language in which the forum appears.
The navigation bars at the bottom are removed for members who are logged in. That and some script clean ups should help things move faster.
You can also directly download entire threads as text from the "thread tools" dropdown menu at the top of each thread.
SECRET ADMIRER/LYDIA CHASE
Some of you who have visited other sites like this might be familiar with Cilla Black. This is essentially a match maker program where you have a bit of fun and get secret admirers.
Here's how it works:
To send someone admiration you go to their post or profile page and click on "register your admiration for_____(=their name)" and this automatically sends them a message. The message will come from Lydia Chase and she will offer them the chance to search for who they think might have been the admirer. If they guess correctly she will message you both again and tell you the name of your match!
To download a secret admirer report, go to your usercp and at the bottom of the left hand menu it will say "Secret Admirer Report". This will send you an e-mail from Lydia with your current admirer counts, matches etc...
Lydia will not tell you who sent you the admiration so you have to play along ;) The more we send the more chances of finding a match. And of course this is ''members only''. The counts and messages reset once per month so go love someone! :D
SOME OF THE NEW FEATURES ON THE FORUM:
In the navigator bar on each page next to the search button is a My Posts button which goes directly to all of your threads and post via a dropdown menu. This is the same as on your profile page but can be accessed from any page now.
The PM system has been altered to display a flashing envelope alerting you that there is a new PM waiting for you when you log in. It will appear under you name next to your last visit date.
You can cross out or 'strike through' words/sentences by using the little button marked with an ABC. This draws a line through your word/sentence when you reply, post or PM something(or someone).
You may use IMG tags in your signatures to display images. Or click the image: symbolhttp://crossdresserclub.com/home/red2black/editor/insertimage.gif to insert your image via java script. PLEASE keep these images small as they will be displayed in your siggy everytime you post or PM.
Back and forward buttons have been added at the bottom of each thread which work exactly the same as the back and forward buttons on your browser.
Those of you with less than 100 posts will be asked if you are sure you are posting in the correct section upon starting a new thread. After you have passed that limit you will no longer see that message, nor will those of you already over 100 posts.
And last but not least the sticky threads have been devided to help separate them from the rest of the sections.
There is a new button beside the title of your new thread as you start them asking has this been discussed before. That button can be clicked to do a search under the title you typed in to see if there was something posted relavant to your topic.
Some new things for you - who happen to read the additions :)
I've added (yes again!) another cool little feature. Up in the navigator bar where you go to find new posts, play games and to log out: you will see a new button top row dead center that says Faq. This replaces the FAQ link with something even better. It has a dropdown menu that will take you to the FAQ, a Site Map, an About Us page, a Privacy Policy page, and a Terms of Service page. These may be of use to you should you have any questions pertaining to this site.
Also on the left side column you will see four additional links/functions. They are Advanced Search, Google Search, Who's Online, and View Forum leaders. I hope these are to your satisfaction.
Home button added to the toolbar/navbar :)
There's a link to view our New Members who have joined in the last day. The link is under the sections on the home page, next to Forum Leaders and Mark Forum Read.
Avatars are now displayed for you on your upper right where your log-in information is displayed. You can turn this off via the User CP under Edit Options, same as you would the banner. Each member will see their own avatar only. I've just added 32 more avatars in your User CP
The Pink style has been updated to the Pink Love style. Just in time for Valentine's :D
