Recent changes and additions

A few things to announce that you might have already noticed :)

Your usercp's have undergone a face lift. Also there is now an addition that shows profile views. Who viewed my profile - is now listed in the usercp directly above you profile picture on your left. You can see the total views on your profile page.

Buddies! :p You can now see your buddies/friends on your profile with their avatars(up to twenty people). Also you will receive an automatic PM from anyone who adds you as their buddy.

Google embedded videos are now a function added to the post new reply/pm box. You can see it next to YouTube and LiveVideo. It works the same as the other two using only the last part of the url to the video. Click the GoogleVideo button, paste the last part of the url into the box and click OK. I will add the instructions to the FAQ as I get time.

The blog section has been added, along with it's own special permissions which include: HTML, Open/Close your own threads, Move your own threads, and even delete your own threads. Please read the announcement in that section for instructions.

I will be doing some more work that in effect will make your profile pages into a full myspace page:D ...hopefully include media as well :up: I can not give you a time on this for when it will be done. I will add to this thread when it's complete to let you know. Realistically it could take up to a week from now.

Only you Mel:p That's cause you changed skins by clicking the linky poo. Now either select it back from the bottom selector or it's naturally clear when you clear you cookies after loggin out. :)

Profiles updated!

I need to mention however that html embedding does not work for media, it's already coded into the page so you only need the URL to the media not the whole source code.

In some cases it will be necessary to remove the last part of the URL with the file name and type. Thus this:
http://www.livevideo.com/video/58BAECBC24B445EEA755AE04CC8358D7/tribute-to-shakira.aspx

Would become this:
http://www.livevideo.com/video/58BAECBC24B445EEA755AE04CC8358D7

There are infact some new changes and additions. There's now the buddies displayed on your profile and a link below that to see who has added you as a buddy. When you add someone to your buddy list they receive a PM letting them know you've done so.

Should you see any profile that is breaking the rules/inappropriate, you can report it directly to me by clicking the link at the top left of the secondary navigation bar. Look for the red and white icon.http://crossdresserclub.com/home/red2black/buttons/report.gif

There are some extra fields that you may now wish to fill out, most of these are under edit options in your user CP. YOU CAN use BBcodes to tag URLs, BOLD words change fonts, etc...

You can view any users attachments by clicking on View More Pics.

If you do not have an avatar, you will see a default avatar in it's place on your profile.

These changes have been tested on IE and Mozilla for functionality :)

Your eyes are not decieving you;) As you read threads now, the signatures of the people replying will only show once per page, hence if they reply more than once the signatures will not display except for the first post they made on each page.

Remember you can always turn OFF avatars, signatures, and images from your UserCP. This may be useful to those on dial up or slow connections.

If you happen to post a second reply and see a signature, no worries simply refresh the page and it will be gone. Other users will not see this. It does work for posts, quotes, and quick replies.

This should help pages to load faster and cut down scrolling through large threads.

K, let's clean up the long signatures gals. They're getting a bit out of hand. Big images are taking up a lot of space and so is some of the text. This can be done by eliminating some of the blank areas in you sigs and using <pre> tags to put things side by side.

The limits now are 450 pixels tall and 800 pixels wide. After which a scroll bar will appear.
