Has anyone tried one of these personal units, they seem to be sold widely but very little reviews are to be found.
If they work I want one!

Better do your homework before even thinking about buying one. Most likely it will be a piece of crap, but then you got the other extrem. Laser is too strong and damage skin. Maybe wrong wavelenth and do nothing again possible skin damage. Everyones skin is different.
But if you really want to I can get you a site for a 120watt laser that will take it all off in a puff of smoke, ohhh yeah, maybe a layer or two of skin.llol

Hard to do homework on this one, there are very few reviews, nearly everything that comes back on an internet search is part of the great hair removal scam!
They are being sold in the States, so I presume they have been cleared by the FDA?
Mel, this laser is supposed to be 808nm wavelength, only works properly on dark hair, if at all, and you are a natural blonde! If I buy one, I'll lend it to you!

Racheal,
You can sell anything over here as long as you are careful about what you claim it can do. The FDA would probably have nothing to do wit it.

Hi Stephanie, as far as I understand there is some rule for hair removal products that claim permanent results, the FDA has a section on it I seem to recall reading.
I am asking about this because I have my doubts, still I am tempted to give it a try.

Hmm, no mention of this device here, the 510k section of the FDA database.

Thanks Bobbie Lee, I have been a frequent visitor to that site myself in the past.
I did sign up to the forum there, and still haven't found anything on this specific device. I did, however, see the manufacturer listed as a warning, so this could be another scam.
