View Full Version : Chest Hair & Bumps...
Ok, someone please help!!!
If I use Nair on my chest, I get this nasty red rash that goes away after a few hours, then I get bumps a couple days later.
If I shave my chest, I get the bumps a couple days later.
If I shave my legs they come out smooth.
If I use Nair on my legs, they come out VERY smooth and soft.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Love to all!:o

Nair's no good for the chest. Ok for legs but I find if I shave them the stubble stays away longer.
Nair breaks the hair off at the surface so I find it works better shaving TBH. Take your time on your chest with a good soft soap or bodywash. Something made to moisturize while you wash; use that while shaving. You should get a day or two before you have to shave again. Constant maintenance yes. Worth it? Hell yes!:D

Get a good lotion to put on yourself for after. You'll love the feel

Too much shaving irritates my chest too, I get a rash and lumps.
My advice is, don't shave everyday and when you moisturize your face continue down and moisturize your chest too.

I have the same problem in that my lower legs are fine but everything gives me bumps and ingrowns on other parts. The only thing that works unfortunately is to do the same thing I do on my face......electric_(@
It's never 100% smooth but the bumps have gone away.
I use a different one on my body than my face. I don't remember the name but it was like $30 at Target. It's made to be used in the shower and works pretty well with a little skintimate. Hope that helps

try "aveno" shaving gell, it can be found in the femme shaving area. it works well, also try there skin softener, i is said to slow down the the hair regrowing. it will help with the bumps. love bobbie

I know that this is kinda an old thread but one thing that might help. Try putting make-up on your chest, the same as you would do on your face, see if this can hide the bumps. And you only have to put make-up where it shows to the public or the camera, don't go putting make-up all over your back and body, if no one can see that part of the body, don't worry about putting make-up there.
